Turf Management

Our turf maintenance team will take meticulous care of your lawn areas, ensuring they receive the utmost attention to promote proper health, optimal growth, and a rich, natural green color.

Our expert maintenance practices are tailored to enhance the lawn's appearance, presenting an elegant and inviting outdoor space for your enjoyment. With our dedicated efforts, your property will thrive, becoming a lush and vibrant landscape centerpiece.

❖ The cutting height of the mowing equipment (which will be kept in sharp condition to provide an even cutting size throughout the landscape) will typically be two (2) to four (4) inches in height depending on turf variety. No more than one-third of the grass blade must be removed when cutting.

❖ Following heavy rains, Landcrafters will wait a sufficient period to allow all grounds to dry out enough to support grounds maintenance equipment to ensure no rutting or defacing occurs.

❖ Excessive grass clippings will be removed or dispersed upon completion of mowing tasks.

❖ If turf and lawns do not need mowing, other necessary services will be performed to ensure your outdoor environment looks impeccable.

Edging

We pay careful attention to detail, and as part of our lawn maintenance service, we use a "blade edger" to meticulously edge all lawn areas bordering pavement, structural edges, sidewalks, walkways, drives, parking, and curbs.

This precision ensures sharp and continuous lines throughout your beautiful landscape. The result is a polished and well-maintained outdoor space that complements the overall elegance of your property.

❖ Bed edges will be kept clean and well-defined around plantings, ground cover, and tree wells, preventing encroachment from lawn grass and weeds.

❖ String Trimming along posts, buildings, lights, signs, trees, and utility installations as required to maintain a neat and clean appearance.

❖ Hard edging of sidewalks

❖ Edging of plant beds to highlight specific areas will be done every visit or as needed.

❖ Edging will be performed regularly to complement the Enhanced Landscape Maintenance Service Schedule at the frequency outlined in the Overview section.

❖ All grass clippings and debris from the edging shall be power blown each week to create a neat, crisp edge.

Trimming

We offer comprehensive landscaping services to maintain your outdoor space beautifully and elegantly. Our expert team will diligently prune, trim, and landscape all trees up to ten (10) feet above walkways and streets, provided they have a diameter of up to one-half (½) inch.

Additionally, we take care of hedges, shrubbery, plants, and ferns in conjunction with each grass-mowing session, presenting a uniform and visually appealing appearance.

❖ This service will ensure proper development of shape and growth; the removal of broken limbs and growth damaged by insects, disease, or storms; and the clearing of utility poles, lines, and all boundary fencing.

❖ Note: storm cleanups will depend on the amount of damage the storm does. Landcrafters will remove any debris from the storm to a reasonable amount – as soon as possible. Additional storm cleanup services will be offered at standard firm prices.

❖ Except for unavoidable delays caused by acts of nature or holidays, hedges and plantings will be maintained by dividing the property into sections. Each of the designated sections will be trimmed each scheduled visit. The entire property will be trimmed monthly.

Our approach to pruning, trimming, and hedging is meticulous and selective. We maintain each plant's natural growth habit based on its species and seasonal growth pattern.

❖ For tree branches that overhang curbs, sidewalks, passageways, patios, balconies, fences, air conditioning units, and parking areas, we perform pruning as necessary, ensuring they are trimmed up to a height of ten (10) feet, depending on their location and species.

Our priority is ensuring your landscape looks stunning, completely safe, and functional. We adhere to strict guidelines for branch removal. No branch larger than one (1) inch in diameter will be removed unless it poses an immediate hazard to vehicles or pedestrians. We will proceed with removal only after providing you with an approved proposal for tree branches greater than ten (10) feet in height or limbs larger than one (1) inch in diameter.

With Landcrafters' careful and expert approach to pruning and trimming, your landscape will flourish while maintaining its natural beauty and safety standards. Trust us to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of your outdoor space with the utmost professionalism.

❖ Note: The scope of work is not intended to include shaping and or shearing the tops of large trees. The intent is to maintain a consistent lateral line height of the canopy at ten (10) feet, depending upon the specific requirements of the trees concerning its location. The shearing and shaping of large trees can be addressed separately.

*This does not include any additional new trees, plants, shrubbery, flowers, and the removal of the same. Major tree pruning will also come at an additional cost at standard firm rates.

Flower Bed Maintenance

We understand the importance of maintaining a weed-free and healthy green area. As part of our services, we will regularly weed the property, aligning it with the grass-mowing schedule. This ensures that your outdoor space is always healthy, free from unsightly and unwanted weeds.

Our proactive approach to weed control helps preserve the beauty and vitality of your landscape, creating an inviting and pristine environment for you to enjoy.

❖ The weeds will be controlled by hand or herbicide treatment in all plant beds and hard surfaces regularly in conjunction with each mowing. The turf areas will be weed-free by mechanical, physical, or chemical methods.

❖ Weeding plant beds will be performed to control the weed population and maintain healthy plants each scheduled visit.

❖ Planting beds infested with weeds will be chemically treated. Weed control in plant beds, walks, and other areas will be addressed using manual hand-pulling and chemical control methods.

❖ Weeding of plant beds will be performed during every scheduled visit to control weed populations and maintain healthy plants each scheduled visit. Vines and all trailing vegetation will be trimmed at this time.

❖ Control of weeds in the plant beds, walks, and curbside areas will be addressed using appropriate manual hand pulling and chemical treatment methods.

Turf & Shrub Care

Regular fertilization is essential for maintaining your greenery's health and proper development. Without adequate fertilization, your plants, trees, and lawn may struggle to thrive, leading to potential issues and long-term damage to the overall appearance of your landscape.

Fertilization provides essential nutrients to the soil, promoting robust growth and vibrant colors in plants and turf. It helps plants develop robust root systems, enabling them to withstand environmental stressors and seasonal changes. A well-fertilized landscape enhances its overall beauty and ensures its longevity and sustainability.

We understand the significance of proper fertilization, and our expert team is committed to providing the necessary nutrients to keep your greenery in perfect health and looking its best year-round. Trust us to employ tailored fertilization programs that suit the specific needs of your landscape, helping it thrive and flourish for years to come.

❖ Turf fertilization to be provided five (5) times per year and ornamental plant fertilization will be provided four (4) times per year, along with visits to the property (including property inspections) to occur on an as-needed basis.

❖ A fertilization specification and schedule may be provided, however, the specifications, timing, rate of application, and elementary composition can be adjusted according to the actual agronomic condition existing at the time. All local/county ordinances about nitrogen fertilizer use will be strictly followed.

❖ Service to be provided by one of Landcrafters’ trusted Chemical Spray Partners and overseen by Landcrafters

Debris Removal

We prioritize maintaining a clean and pristine environment during our expert landscape maintenance activities. Any debris generated during our work will be promptly removed from walks, curbs, and driveways with meticulous attention to detail. We use blowing techniques to ensure thorough cleaning, limiting the migration of excess lawn grass clippings. However, it's essential to note that wind-blown clippings may occasionally appear due to the nature of the work.

Before mowing turf areas or performing gardening services, we carefully police for litter to avoid shredding and scattering foreign matter. It is crucial to understand that Landcrafters is not responsible for removing undesired plant material, fallen limbs, and seasonal leaf droppings unless explicitly included in the additional service section of this agreement.

Our commitment is to maintain a tidy and well-kept landscape throughout our services, ensuring your outdoor space remains visually appealing and enjoyable for you and your community. Trust us to deliver impeccable landscaping maintenance with a keen eye for cleanliness and detail.

Irrigation Management & Inspections

Our commitment to your landscape's well-being extends to the irrigation system. Through ongoing monthly inspections and maintenance, we ensure that your resources are not wasted through leaks and that your greenery receives just the right amount of water, tailored to the specific season. This careful attention to irrigation helps your green area maintain perfect health and appearance, ensuring a vibrant and thriving outdoor space.

❖ You will get a monthly expert examination of all components of your sprinkler system – to ensure the entire system performs optimally, as the seasons (and the needs of your green area) change. We will pay attention to the solenoid and wire continuity state, ensure the nozzles and sprinkler heads are unclogged and clean, and check for any leakage (or potential leakage).

❖ We will perform a control panel checkup, ensuring it works correctly. Our expert checkups will ensure you’re not wasting resources, but also that the irrigation system is watering down your greenery at optimum times and frequency with an optimum amount of water. We’ll adjust the irrigation run times and start times each season and replace the backup batteries if needed.

❖ Our experts will conduct a system leak checkup, as even a minor leak can cause significant damage to the entire outdoor area (and to your bank account). Our experts have developed a way to thoroughly inspect the entire irrigation system – and identify even those minor leaks.

❖ You will also have your irrigation system backflow inspected. That is necessary to ensure there are no problems (which can, in worst cases, cause dangerous chemicals to mix with your drinking water).

❖ Note, Landcrafters would recommend a $350 monthly budget for repairs to be done on-site during the irrigation inspections to ensure optimal timing of completion for these.

Palm Tree Trimming

We will provide professional trimming services for your Palm trees during the contract term. Our skilled team will perform precise trimming to promote proper growth and ensure your Palm trees maintain a pristine appearance. With Landcrafters' expertise, your Palm trees will flourish, adding elegance and beauty to your landscape. Trust us to care for your trees with professionalism and attention to detail.

❖ Palms shorter than fifteen (15) feet and reachable from the ground will be pruned by removing brown fronds and seed heads as needed during the regularly scheduled maintenance visits. The field team will remove all litter made from Palm trimming from the landscapes.

❖ Palms taller than fifteen (15) feet will be trimmed one (1) time annually during the Fall or Spring months and are not included in this agreement. ***Note, Palms larger than (15) feet are not included. It can be proposed separately if the need arises.

❖ Note that the Palm trimming frequency can be adjusted to the client’s needs and budget throughout the year.

Floriculture Program

To reimagine the parts of the landscape as the seasons change. Introducing new, eye-catching pieces that will make your green area look more alive than ever.

❖ Each rotation will include removing the old and planting the new annuals, as well as, soil replenishments to ensure the flowers receive proper nutrients. Our target planting dates will revolve around March, June, September, and November for four (4) rotations per year.

❖ Will include the installation of (TBD) 4.5” of varying color and varieties in the relevant areas agreed upon by all parties. Note, all 4.5” annuals are spaced at 6-inches to 8-inches OC’ throughout the relevant planting areas.

Annual Landscape Audit

As part of Landcrafters' Enhanced Landscape Maintenance plans, we offer an annual Expert Landscape Audit to maximize the benefits of your investment and enhance your landscape further.

The audit includes the following features:

❖ Detailed Property Reporting: Your Landcrafters Account Manager will thoroughly assess your property, providing a comprehensive analysis to improve curb appeal and enhance plant health and diversity, all tailored to your budget.

❖ Photographs for Easy Identification: Each report includes photographs, making it convenient to discuss and catalog discussion points related to your commercial landscaping needs.

❖ Ideas for Improvement: In addition to identifying opportunities for regular commercial lawn maintenance improvements, we offer enhancement recommendations to elevate the overall aesthetic of your environment. These suggestions improve the visual appeal and increase your investment significantly.

After our conversation, you will receive an electronic copy of your commercial landscaping audit.
